Leeds rivals land six-foot-nine keeper for £8.5m as Palace lose £52m star | OneFootball

Leeds United’s second campaign back in the Premier League begins three weeks today. One new Leeds rival has signed a six-foot-nine goalkeeper for £8.5m, and Crystal Palace have lost a £52m star amid a rush of deals.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Arsenal have brought in Christos Tzolis for £34m, Illan Meslier on a free and Piero Hincapie permanently, with Elijah Upson also added. Leandro Trossard has joined Besiktas for £15.3m and Jakub Kiwior has moved to Porto.

Aston Villa have added Johan Manzambi for £50m, Joao Gomes for £38m and Alejandro Garnacho on loan. Morgan Rogers has gone to Chelsea for £117m, while Youri Tielemans has joined Manchester United for £35m.

Bournemouth have signed Alvaro Rodriguez from Elche for £21m. Marcos Senesi has joined Tottenham after his contract expired, and Luis Sinisterra has completed a permanent switch to Cruizeiro. Andoni Iraola has departed to take over at Liverpool.

Brentford have landed Jannik Schuster for £17.2m and Jaidon Anthony for £17m, plus Callum Wilson on a free. Jordan Henderson has been released and is set to sign for Chelsea, with Frank Onyeka moving to Coventry City for £8m.

Brighton have recruited Luka Vuskovic for £50m, Pascal Struijk for £20m and Zadok Yohanna for £21.5m. Jan Paul van Hecke has joined Tottenham for £52m, and James Milner is retiring.

Chelsea have added Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace and Marco Palestra for £43m, with Xabi Alonso appointed head coach. Marc Cucurella has joined Real Madrid for £51.8m.
