Leeds United bounced back from a 3-2 loss to Wrexham with a 1-0 win over Sunderland in New Jersey. Lukas Nmecha struck early with a long-range effort that owed much to the goalkeeper.

Ampadu struggled to find his usual rhythm and Piroe offered little. Gnonto’s energy stood out and James created chances from the left. Leeds need another big season from Stach.
