United are four points clear of 18th-placed West Ham, three ahead of 17th-placed Tottenham and one in front of 16th-placed Nottingham Forest. There is a six-point gap to 14th-placed Crystal Palace, with Newcastle and Bournemouth on 42 points and Palace on 39.

Palace face the hardest run-in, averaging ninth place at 9.14, with Newcastle, West Ham, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Everton, Brentford and Arsenal still to come.

Forest and Burnley are joint second-hardest at 9.71 on average. Forest’s fixtures include Villa, Burnley, Chelsea, Newcastle, Manchester United and Bournemouth, while Burnley still meet Brighton, Forest, Manchester City, Leeds, Villa, Arsenal and Wolves.

Tottenham are next with an average of 10.57, to play Sunderland, Brighton, Wolves, Villa, Leeds, Chelsea and Everton.

West Ham have the third easiest at 11.0, against Wolves, Palace, Everton, Brentford, Arsenal, Newcastle and Leeds. Wolves’ run is second easiest at 14.14, featuring West Ham, Leeds, Tottenham, Sunderland, Brighton, Fulham and Burnley.
