Leicester City supporters have been reacting the news that director of football Jon Rudkin will be moved upstairs as part of a board reshuffle.
Leicester City are reportedly planning a major reshuffle at boardroom level, with under-fire director of football Jon Rudkin one of those who will be impacted by the changes.
According to The Telegraph, Leicester owner Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha is planning a big overhaul of the club's football operations, with a technical director set to be appointed and Rudkin moving "upstairs" after a period of intense criticism from supporters.
After the Foxes suffered their second relegation from the Premier League in three years last season, it has been a turbulent first few months back in the Championship under manager Marti Cifuentes.
Leicester made a positive start to the season and sat as high as third in the table in early October, but they then went on a five-game winless run which included three consecutive defeats to increase pressure on Cifuentes, as well as the club's hierarchy.
The Foxes returned to winning ways with a much-needed 2-1 victory at Norwich City before the international break, and while they are currently 12th in the table, they are only four points from the play-off places.

Leicester's current league position suggests that they still have a strong chance of achieving promotion this season, or at least claiming a top six place, but after being charged with breach of the EFL's financial rules, the threat of a possible points deduction is looming over them.
Financial issues have been a constant theme at the King Power Stadium in recent years, and the Foxes made combined losses of over £200 million during the three-year rolling period ending 30th June 2024, which is far higher than the maximum permitted amount of £81 million, with adjustments for deductions.
Rudkin has served as Leicester's director of football since December 2014, and he has overseen many of the club's major successes, including their Premier League title victory, their FA Cup success and their involvement in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
However, as the club's off-field situation continues to deteriorate, Rudkin has become a target of supporter frustration, with regular protests being held calling for the 57-year-old's sacking, and while he is not leaving the club, it appears Srivaddhanaprabha is now set to take action.
The Telegraph claim that Rudkin will be remaining in his role as director of football and is still seen as "essential to the day-to-day running of the club and its future", but he will effectively be moving "upstairs" as the club prepare to appoint their first ever technical director.
Whoever is appointed as the Foxes' new technical director will "take control of recruitment and scouting", suggesting that Rudkin will now have less involvement in football operations, while Srivaddhanaprabha is also keen to appoint a new chief executive following the departure of Susan Whelan last month, as well as a new commercial director.

Leicester supporters have made no secret of their disapproval of Rudkin in recent times, and in response to a post on X from The Telegraph journalist John Percy announcing the news of his imminent change of role, many expressed their delight.
However, while there was widespread relief that Rudkin may not be as involved in football decisions moving forward, some Foxes supporters were disappointed that he is remaining as director of football, and others questioned how much of a difference the changes will really make.
In a sign of just how disillusioned the Leicester faithful have become with the board, one fan was not simply content with Rudkin's role being changed and also called for Srivaddhanaprabha to step down.
