The big match at the Olimpico between Roma and Milan ended in a draw.

After a first half dominated by the Giallorossi, in which Gasperini’s team imposed the pace and play, but found Mike Maignan in a good mood, the match heated up in the second half.

The visitors’ lead was countered by a late penalty converted by Pellegrini. Mike Maignan, named man of the match, expressed some disappointment to DAZN: “We wanted the three points, but we faced a tough, difficult team. We knew it; we were playing them at their home ground. We held firm in the first half, and in the second we had a chance to score, and we did. It’s a shame we didn’t close it out.”

“Then we had a penalty against us… we can’t comment on that. What’s Bartesaghi supposed to do? Cut his arms? Celik kicked his hand. They could have even called a second penalty on Pulisic.”

“There are a lot of very strong teams competing for the top spots. We know that every point counts. We play every game to win, and we want to get as many points as possible to continue our progress.”
