In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Manchester City are hoping to re-sign Real Madrid winger Brahim Diaz. It has been claimed that the Mancunian giants are eyeing a move to bring the Morocco international back to the Etihad Stadium this summer.

Diaz’s Impressive Form In English Football

Diaz has enjoyed a decent run of form at the Madrid club as he has put in a string of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 26-year-old has registered one goal and grabbed nine assists in 41 matches for Los Blancos this season across all competitions.

The Moroccan talent is currently among the most talented wide players in La Liga. Hence, Man City would do well to lure him back to the Etihad Stadium this off-season.

His current contract at the Madrid club will run out in the summer of 2027, which could open the door for the Mancunian outfit to sign him on the cheap in this upcoming transfer window.

Should Manchester City Bring Diaz Bring Him Back?

Diaz is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to engineer some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third.

The Moroccan sensation can shoot the ball with power from long range and can contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals from the wide areas. Diaz is primarily a right-winger but can also serve as a left-sided wide player or as an attacking midfielder if needed. He already knows the Premier League well from his previous spell at Man City and won’t take much time to settle into life in England.

We can expect Diaz to bring more firepower to the Mancunian club’s attack. He is good enough to challenge for a regular starting place at the Etihad Stadium in the coming seasons.

At 26, Diaz has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for Man City to consider later this year. He might even help the Premier League outfit compete for some major honours over the next few seasons. All in all, Man City would be wise to bring Diaz back to England at the end of this campaign.
