Manchester United sign German international forward Schüller | OneFootball

Manchester United have completed the signing of German international forward Lea Schüller on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Red Devils this afternoon.

The 28-year-old joins Manchester United from German Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga club Bayern Munich. She will officially arrive at The Progress With Unity Stadium on 1 January 2026.

Schüller has spent the last five-and-a-half years with Bayern Munich. She has made almost 200 appearances for the German club, scoring more than a century of goals. Schüller has won four league titles as a Bayern Munich player along with two Super Cups and one German Cup.

On the international stage, Schüller has been capped by Germany on 82 occasions while she has scored 54 goals.

After joining Manchester United, Schüller said “From the first conversations that I had with Marc [Skinner] and the club, the ambitions of everyone here were very clear. I still have so much that I want to achieve in my career, and I know that Manchester United is the perfect club to join.

“I feel that the team’s style of football will really suit my game, I hope my qualities and experience can help us to achieve our aims both in England and in the Champions League.”

Schüller is Manchester United’s second January transfer window signing.
