Memphis Depay left Rotterdam for São Paulo on Monday afternoon, with negotiations over his Corinthians return advancing but not yet agreed.

According to Globo.com, the forward is due to land at Guarulhos in the early hours of Tuesday, then take a medical and, if cleared, sign a two-year renewal.

Talks began during the 2026 World Cup, and both sides are optimistic of a positive outcome this week, though minor contractual issues remain. Corinthians plan to conclude matters after the medical.
