FC Nantes play host to Ligue 1’s in-form team tonight as Olympique Lyonnais visit, searching for their 12th consecutive victory across all competitions. Nantes have had no such luck and are looking to turn around a run of three consecutive defeats in the league. 

Nantes were active in the winter transfer window as they look to arrest a run of form that sees them sitting in the relegation playoff spot. Junior Mwanga surprisingly returned to parent club RC Strasbourg Alsace, but was replaced by a fresh loanee in Abakar Sylla. 

Sylla will likely start life at the Stade de la Beaujoire on the bench, with Ali Youssif expected to start after debuting in the defeat to FC Lorient last weekend. Fellow winter recruit Deiver Machado returns to the fray after an injury setback.
