Liverpool bid to boost their Champions League hopes as they face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. After slip-ups for both Aston Villa and Chelsea yesterday, Arne Slot’s side seek to capitalise in the race to finish in the top five in the Premier League.

Victory would move Liverpool level on points with both Chelsea and Manchester United, who are not in action until Monday. The Reds have responded to their setback against Manchester City two weeks ago with back-to-back wins over Sunderland and then Brighton in the FA Cup last weekend.
