Official: Real Madrid Player of the Month nominees revealed | OneFootball

The shortlist of candidates to be named Player of the Month at La Liga giants Real Madrid has been unveiled online.

And it features players from a number of areas across Los Blancos’ squad.

Real Madrid are of course fresh off a productive month all told in March.

After slipping to defeat in their first outing of the month against Getafe, Álvaro Arbeloa’s troops went on to rattle off five successive victories.

This included back-to-back wins over Manchester City in the Champions League, and a derby downing of city rivals Atlético in La Liga.

Along the way, a whole host of Real’s key performers featured prominently, with Federico Valverde and Vinícius Jr. the two standouts in the eyes of most.

The South American pair, in turn, have as expected been named amongst the nominees for Los Merengues’ Player of the Month prize.

And joining them are the trio of Dean Huijsen, Antonio Rüdiger, and Aurélien Tchouaméni.
