OGC Nice have already been eliminated from the UEFA Europa League, even before tonight’s trip to Sweden to face Ludogorets.

However, Nice have got a proverbial monkey off their back, earning their first point of the campaign last time out, thanks to a win over Go Ahead Eagles. Claude Puel is therefore expected to rest most of his key players, not even taking them as part of the matchday squad.

Maxime Dupé, Jonathan Clauss, Dante, Kojo Peprah Oppong, Sofiane Diop, Morgan Sanson, and Mohamed-Ali Cho are all expected to remain in France. There are plenty of other absentees, too, including Charles Vanhoutte, who is suspended, as well as Mohamed Abdelmonem, Youssouf Ndayishimiye, Jérémie Boga, Terem Moffi, Moise Bombito, Melvin Bard, Hicham Boudaoui, and Elye Wahi, who is ineligible.
