Pablo Marín signs new Real Sociedad deal to 2029 and takes No 15 | OneFootball

Pablo Marín has signed a new contract with Real Sociedad until 2029 and has been handed the first-team shirt No 15.

The player said on the club’s website that he is happy, calling La Real the club of his life and a dream place to continue.

The agreement was signed this afternoon at the Anoeta offices. Marín, who had been wearing 31, now takes 15, recently vacated by Sadiq Umar after his move to Valencia.

The midfielder was an important figure last season for Imanol Alguacil and also logged significant minutes under Sergio Francisco.

Since the arrival of Pellegrino Matarazzo, he has dropped out of the starting XI for now, yet remains one of the main options from the bench.

This season he has featured in 21 matches across LaLiga and the Copa, totalling 870 minutes. He has scored once, in stoppage time of extra time against Eldense in the Copa del Rey third round.
