Rossi says Flamengo deserved their Libertadores title

Goalkeeper Rossi celebrated the Copa Libertadores title win by Flamengo extensively. In the Argentine's view, justice prevailed in Lima, Peru. The Rubro-Negro defeated Palmeiras 1-0.

“There is no explanation. I congratulate everyone for their strength. We fought hard to be here. It is very gratifying. It is something that cannot be explained, it is incredible. We are champions. We are champions with justice. We are a great team,” he told ESPN.

With the 1-0 victory over Palmeiras this Saturday, Flamengo became the Brazilian team with the most titles in the history of the competition: a total of four. Besides 2025, the club won in 1981, 2019, and 2022.
