Snodgrass hails ‘exceptional’ Harry Wilson as Leeds deal nears | OneFootball

Robert Snodgrass has hailed Harry Wilson as Leeds United close in on the Wales international, who has agreed a move to Elland Road from Fulham subject to a medical and paperwork.

“Harry Wilson is an exceptional talent and would have had a host of teams trying to sign him,” said Snodgrass. He was speaking to talkSPORT BET Sportsbook.

“…He will be a great addition and a great signing for Leeds.”

Leeds tried to sign him on deadline day last summer before Fulham pulled the plug. The 29-year-old is out of contract this summer and, after an exceptional 2025-26, several clubs were in the hunt. He will become their first arrival of the window once medical and paperwork are completed ahead of United’s second season back in the Premier League.

“I think the goal for Leeds was always to come back bigger, better, and stronger, learning from the mistakes of the last time they were up.”

“They need to get cemented in the Premier League and try to kick on. They had some great performances in the latter stages to stay up and looked quite comfortable in the end.”
