Tottenham travel to Newcastle tonight in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
The North Londoners head into the clash in confident mood, following an impressive 3-0 win at Everton in the Premier League at the weekend.
Thomas Frank has overseen a positive start at Spurs, with his side positioned third in the Premier League. A win tonight against the Carabao Cup holders will earn Spurs a place in the quarter-finals.
Thomas Frank is contending with a significant injury list at present. Captain Cristian Romero remains unavailable, though has recently returned to training. Destiny Udogie is also back in training after picking up an issue on international duty earlier this month. Those absences could see Archie Gray used in a defensive role at St James’.
James Maddison and Radu Dragusin (ACL) remain long-term absentees, while Dominic Solanke, Dejan Kulusevski, Yves Bissouma, and Ben Davies joining a packed treatment room.
Randal Kolo Muani will hope for more minutes after making his first Spurs start at Everton.
Tottenham possible starting XI: Kinsky; Porro, Gray, Danso, Spence; Palhinha, Bentancur, Bergvall; Johnson, Richarlison, Tel.
Newcastle host Spurs in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday 29th October 2026. Kick-off at St James’ Park is 8pm BST.
Viewers in the UK can watch the game on ITV 1 and ITV X from 7:30pm. The fixture is also being shown on Sky Sports Main Event.
