Transfer news – PSG plan to play a cheeky trick on Barça!

In recent hours, there has been talk of an offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Alexia Putellas, a 31-year-old forward from FC Barcelona and Spain who notably won the Ballon d'Or in 2021 and 2022. L'Equipe confirms this lead.

"According to information from Mundo Deportivo, which we can confirm, PSG is trying to attract Alexia Putellas, with only two days left in the transfer window. The Spanish star has only one year left on her contract with Barça (about 100,000€ per month), which is under heavy financial pressure from the league."

This would be a huge coup accomplished by PSG, with one of the greatest forwards of recent years. But we shouldn't get too excited too soon, nothing is yet settled. Putellas may not necessarily leave Barça. We cannot rule out that this case ends very quickly and without good news. We must remain patient, with a little hope.
