Willem Geubbels is expected to join Lecce, with the French forward set to undergo a medical on Saturday.

The Serie A side finished 17th last season. Foot Mercato reports that the fee would be €5 million plus bonuses.

Geubbels, 24, joined Paris FC a year ago from Saint-Gall for €9 million. A Lyon academy graduate, he was likely to face heavy competition with Lassine Sinayoko and Pablo Pagis arriving and the option to buy on Luca Koleosho exercised.

At Paris FC he did not firmly establish himself amid competition from Jean-Philippe Krasso and, in particular, Ciro Immobile, recruited last winter.

He started only 12 Ligue 1 matches and scored 5 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions for Paris.
