Wolves enter the Championship for the first time in eight years after relegation, with Cesar Peixoto leading a bid to return at the first attempt.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, five fixtures stand out after the release of the full schedule.
Opening day: They start at Molineux against Blackburn on Friday, August 14, live on Sky. Rovers, now led again by former Albion boss Tony Mowbray after a turbulent season, were in the relegation zone when Valerien Ismael was sacked in February, and Michael O’Neill steered them to 20th, five points clear.
Black Country derby: The first league meeting with Albion since 2021 arrives on Saturday, September 19 at Molineux, the first second-tier derby since 2008. Wolves will look to add to their 2024 FA Cup win by chasing a first league victory over Albion since 2011.
Festive run: Boxing Day brings Swansea to Molineux. Either side of that, Wolves visit Norwich before Christmas, then travel to Watford on December 29 and Millwall on New Year’s Day.
Reverse derby: The Hawthorns hosts the return on Saturday, February 20, in a busy spell that also includes an away trip to Bolton three days earlier. That 2024 FA Cup success was Wolves’ first win there since 1996.
Run-in: The season closes away at Derby on Saturday, May 1, with a final Molineux outing the previous week against QPR.
