The fixtures for matchday 9 of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup will take place from October 6 to 10, 2025, before wrapping up with the tenth round set for October 11 to 14.These matches promise to be packed with suspense and will be decisive in the race for a World Cup berth, with the tournament scheduled to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.So far, only Morocco and Tunisia have officially booked their tickets for the finals.With just two matchdays left, seven more teams will secure direct qualification, while the four best runners-up will advance to the CAF playoffs. The winner of that round will then contest the FIFA intercontinental playoff, aiming to clinch a tenth African spot.
