According to Olé, Ander Herrera has agreed with Boca Juniors to terminate his contract, which had been due to run until December. This brings his Argentine stint to a close.
The midfielder joined Boca from Athletic Bilbao in January 2025. He spent one and a half seasons with the Buenos Aires club.

Herrera previously played for PSG between 2019 and 2022.
His Boca spell totalled 29 matches and one goal, with progress hindered by numerous injuries. He is 36 and has two caps for Spain.
Following the termination, he is now without a club.
