Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes is set to be included in the Red Devils’ matchday squad against West Ham United today despite injury concerns, according to United insider Sully.

Man United host the Hammers at Old Trafford tonight, and manager Ruben Amorim revealed yesterday that there are two injury doubts for the match.

While the Portuguese refused to name the two players, many were convinced Fernandes was one of them as it appeared the Red Devils captain took a knock in the second-half against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday.

The Portuguese trained yesterday and will be available for selection tonight after shaking off the knock in a huge boost for Man United.

Fernandes has started every Premier League game the Red Devils have played this term, weighing in with two goals and five assists.

The 31-year-old hardly misses games due to injuries, and having him available to face West Ham will give the hosts a high chance of picking up all three points.

Man United returned to winning ways against Palace having gone without victory in their last three games heading into the trip to Selhurst Park.

A win tonight will see them move into fifth in the Premier League table, and Amorim will be relying on Fernandes and others to deliver.

The Hammers will be giving Man United a fight as they need to pick up a result to boost their survival chances, and a tough match could be on the cards.

West Ham have won two and drawn one of their last four league games, and the Red Devils have to be on top of their game to win tonight.

They are next in action after tonight when they visit Molineux Stadium next Monday to take on 20th-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers, and winning against the strugglers should come easily.

Wolves have drawn two and lost 12 in 14 league games this term, and Man United cannot afford to drop points in a game everybody expects them to win.
