Corinthians council committees summon marketing department to give account

The internal bodies of Corinthians continue to operate, and this time, the Marketing and Finance Committees of the Deliberative Council have summoned the club's Marketing Department to account for the contracts signed last season, according to a report by the Central do Timão.

The committees have summoned Marketing Director Angêlo de Sá Júnior, Marketing Superintendent Vinicius Manfredi, and Commercial Superintendent Sandor Romanelli, who are expected to attend this Tuesday (10) to account for and present figures related to contracts, partnerships, and actions carried out in 2025.

According to the report, on another occasion, the presence of department professionals in the committees had already been requested, but at the time, the measure was not authorized by the current board, presided over by Osmar Stabile.

The meeting will be presided over by the president of the Deliberative Council, Romeu Tuma Jr., as provided in the CD's internal regulations, which stipulate that meetings of the Joint Committees must be conducted by the president of the body, either on their own initiative or at the request of one of the committees. The meeting aims to understand the department's activities throughout 2025, analyze contracts, receive detailed explanations, and learn about the plans to be implemented for the 2026 season.

The CD's Marketing Committee is composed of Adriano Monteiro Alves, brother of former president Duilio Monteiro Alves, Evandro Guimarães, Luis Wagner Alcântara, Marcelo Napoleão Pestana, and Robson Ramos Luis Bujato. The Finance Committee consists of Roberson de Medeiros, known as Dunga, former president of the club's Ethics Committee, Adilson Domingos Moraes, Warlei dos Santos, Carlos Roberto de Mello, and Wesley Lúcio Cavalcanti de Melo.
