According to Meu Timao, Corinthians officially unveiled midfielder Allan at CT Joaquim Grava, following his recent debut for the club. He has joined on loan from Flamengo until the end of 2026 and held his first press conference.
Allan said he is still chasing peak fitness to recapture his Atlético-MG form. He added that, once fully ready, he could reprise a midfield pair at Corinthians, as he did previously alongside Jair. Early outings have included minutes next to Raniele in the last match.
Corinthians will cover his full wages with no loan fee to Flamengo. The deal includes an option to buy at the end of the spell for two million euros, around R$ 12.3 million.
Developed at Internacional, Allan moved to Liverpool but never featured officially due to work permit issues. He then had loans in Finland, Belgium, Germany and Cyprus. In Brazil he played for Fluminense, Atlético-MG and Flamengo, winning the league and Libertadores last season before losing his place under Filipe Luís.
Registered on 11 February, he has already made four appearances, two from the start. On Sunday he converted in the shootout win over Portuguesa, sending Corinthians into the Campeonato Paulista semi-finals. A packed calendar delayed his formal unveiling.
Corinthians have also added Gabriel Paulista, Pedro Milans, Fabrizio Angileri, Matheus Pereira, Zakaria Labyad and Kaio César this window, which closes in March. Allan could be in the squad on Wednesday at 20:00 when Corinthians visit Cruzeiro at the Mineirão in the fourth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
