A brilliant performance from start to finish sees Barcelona completely dismantle Valencia. The Catalan giants, in their first home game of the season, showcase their true attacking prowess. Even without Lamine Yamal, Hansi Flick’s side was too much for Valencia to handle.

With a convincing 6-0 scoreline, thanks to goals from Fermin Lopez, Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski, Barça add three crucial points to their total tally. However, it is all thanks to a great collective performance.

Here are the player ratings for Barcelona.

Player Ratings:

Joan Garcia: 7.5

Not tested to his limit by Valencia, unlike his previous game, but kept a clean sheet and his distribution was sublime as well.

Jules Kounde: 7.5

A much better performance from the Frenchman this time around, Jules Kounde was sharp and looked ready for this game. Did well both offensively and especially defensively.

Eric Garcia: 7.5

Solid performance from Eric Garcia. The Spaniard did well to contain any attacking threat from Valencia and was ready to put his foot in whenever needed.

Pau Cubarsi: 8.0

Almost always in the right place at the right time, Pau Cubarsi played this game with a great deal of cleverness. His passes were sublime as always, and his defensive positioning was worth commending.

Gerard Martin: 8.0

A reliable presence on the left flank, he did his job quite well. Nullified any attacking threat from the flank he was guarding, and did well to connect with his winger and midfielders quite frequently.

Marc Casado: 8.0

Strong performance from Marc Casado, and the young Spaniard proved that he has what it takes to be counted on when players like Frenkie de Jong are not available either.

Pedri: 8.5

It is simply unquestionable that Pedri continues to run the show for Barça. Yet another scintillating performance, the young Spaniard was simply everywhere and continued to create chance after chance.

Roony Bardghji: 6.5

A bit underwhelming during the first half, but it was a decent debut for the young winger. He was composed enough in possession, and did well to connect with his teammates.

Fermin Lopez: 9.0

A superb performance from the Spaniard, who put his heart and soul on the line tonight. Two sensational goals, especially his second one, and a performance that saw him put in effort and intensity to put pressure on the opposition.

Marcus Rashford: 7.5

Looked sharp and did well to initiate moments for Barça’s attack to capitalise on. Managed to get a great assist as well to help Raphinha score.

Ferran Torres: 7.0

Good in terms of his pressing and movement off the ball, but clearly needs to be more clinical. Managed to get an accidental assist as well with a pass that came thanks to a bad touch.

Raphinha: 8.5

A strong performance from the Brazilian forward, who managed to score a brace himself. Not as flashy as the two other braces in the game, but good enough to help Barça cruise to victory.

Dani Olmo: 7.5

Looked eager to have an impact, and even managed to get an assist for Lewandowski’s first goal.

Robert Lewandowski: 8.5

Came on late but quickly gave everyone a reminder that he is still one of the best strikers of his generation. Scored two great goals, and they both showcased exactly how clinical he can be.

Jofre Torrents: 6.5

Good showing from the youngster, who replaced Gerard Martin.

Marc Bernal: 7.0
