Bucs Player of the Month nominees revealed

Orlando Pirates have announced the nominees for their November/December Player of the Month award, with six players in the running.

The Soweto giants played five matches in November and only one this month, ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

Abdeslam Ouaddou led his charges to five victories and drew the other match, while scoring ten goals and conceding two during that period.

The Nominees for the top gong include goalkeeper Sipho Chaine, who managed to keep four clean sheets, conceding only twice in six outings.

Outgoing defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi is also in contention due to his defensive contribution alongside right-back Thabiso Lebitso, who is somewhat an unsung hero of the squad.

Speedy winger Tshepang Moremi also made the shortlist, while Oswin Appollis returns to the nomination list with three goal contributions.

Relebohile Mofokeng rounds up the nominees after impressive displays, which includes a goal in the Carling Knockout Cup final last Saturday, following a difficult spell on the sidelines.
