Wolves cancel training after Tolu Arokodare refuses to leave session | OneFootball

Wolves cancelled a training session on Monday after striker Tolu Arokodare refused to leave the first-team group, according to ExpressAndStar.com.

Extra security was drafted in to prevent a repeat.

The 25-year-old is widely expected to depart this summer and will not feature in Wednesday's friendly at Maidenhead United. He is not banned from the training ground, and the situation appears increasingly acrimonious, creating an unwanted headache for new boss Cesar Peixoto.

Arokodare did not initially travel for last week's warm weather camp in Portugal, receiving a late call-up after fellow forward Adam Armstrong suffered an injury.

Signed from Genk for £24 million last summer, he scored three Premier League goals as Wolves were relegated from the top flight.

In April he faced disciplinary action after a dressing room bust-up with team-mate Mateus Mane during a 4-0 defeat at West Ham, in which he was the sole aggressor.

Wolves accepted a loan offer from Trabzonspor, but the move was turned down by the player.
