FLW looks at two more players who might be linking up with the Danish midfielder at Pride Park in January
With Oscar Fraulo’s move to Derby County from Borussia Mönchengladbach all but confirmed by the Championship club, FLW looks at two more players who could be linking up with the Danish midfielder at Pride Park in January.
Danish journalist Farzam Abolhosseini tweeted on Tuesday night that the deal for ex-Utrecht loanee Fraulo is actually complete, and the player has already penned a contract that will keep him in the East Midlands until 2029.
This transfer, which is reportedly going to cost the Rams between €300k to €400k, comes after Derby had apparently tried to sign the Dane last January for a sum which was "in the millions" - as tweeted by BBC Radio Derby's Dominic Dietrich.
So, who else could potentially become a Ram in the New Year?

Derby only sit six points off the playoff places ahead of Thursday’s game against Middlesbrough, so head coach John Eustace must be aware that shrewd business in January could put the club side into serious contention - even if he has played down expectations of that happening.
One area that has become particularly pressing for the fans is the left-back position. Callum Elder has been the main option throughout the season so far, but that has only been down to the injury troubles suffered by Owen Beck which saw the youngster’s loan from Liverpool cut short.
Although Elder managed an assist away at Leicester City on Monday night, it's perhaps to no one's surprise to hear that Football Insider reported that Derby have made their interest known in signing USA international George Bello from Austrian outfit LASK.
The aforementioned report states that LASK are willing to allow the American to leave for the right price - with a valuation of £1.5m.
Considering the fact that the Rams forked out a reported fee of around £3.5m for right-back Max Johnston, who came from fellow Austrian side Sturm Graz in the summer, this transfer doesn't feel out of reach.
At just 23 years of age, Bello seems to be a genuine long-term option for Derby's squad rather than a short-term fix - and he’d also definitely be welcomed in by his compatriot Patrick Agyemang.

FLW exclusively revealed in December that Derby are plotting a move for Stockport County’s Jack Diamond, with the Rams among a number of other Championship clubs keeping tabs on the former Sunderland man.
In terms of creativity going forward, Eustace's side are lacking a lot of quality - which was evident against Leicester. Ben Brereton Diaz has started all 19 of his league games since signing, but has only created a total of 15 chances in the Championship, as per FotMob data.
Against the Foxes, Diaz failed to create a single chance in the 67 minutes he was on the pitch and none of his three attempted crosses were successful. To sum it up, he only touched the ball 14 times.
Additionally, Kayden Jackson is yet to contribute to a single goal in 18 appearances, albeit just two were starts, and Corey Blackett-Taylor has only played a total of 153 minutes this season - so improvement does need to happen in that department.
Diamond has four goals and as many assists across 22 League One appearances for Dave Challinor's side currently, which may seem fairly small, but our Hatters Fan Pundit claimed the 25-year-old has been stepping up in the absence of others.
So it's probably fair to say that he'd offer more of a spark in comparison to some Derby players at the club. Rams fans also seem to remember Diamond's previous performances against them - with one noting that the forward "ripped us to shreds" whilst at Lincoln City.
Another said that "there's a player there" after watching Diamond come on as a substiute against Derby during the promotion-winning match against Carlisle United. Diamond spent time on loan at each of these sides when on the books at Sunderland.
Ultimately, whether Eustace moves for one, both, or neither of these players in the coming weeks remains to be seen, but what is clear is that the club have identified multiple targets that could join Fraulo soon.
