A European return could be on the horizon for Brazilian star Neymar. The 33-year-old attacking midfielder, currently with Santos, is reportedly being pursued by Italian clubs Inter and Napoli, with his representatives already engaged in talks.

The driving force behind a potential move is Neymar's ambition to feature in the 2026 World Cup. A return to a top European league is seen as crucial for achieving that dream.

Since rejoining his boyhood club at the start of 2025, he has made 21 appearances, scoring six goals and providing three assists. With his contract set to expire at the end of December and a current market value of €11 million, a transfer appears increasingly feasible.
