Abdellah Zoubir is a free agent after his move to Saudi club Al-Orobah collapsed.

According to L'Équipe, the French winger, 34, left Qarabag this summer after the club released him to facilitate a switch to Al-Orobah. The Saudi league did not ratify his contract, citing a lack of financial guarantees from the club.

His eight-year spell with Qarabag was highly productive, returning 79 goals and 96 assists in 379 matches.

He featured in last season's Champions League, with Qarabag eliminated in the play-offs by Newcastle.

The former Lens player, at the club from 2016 to 2018, had signed the last big contract of his career before an unwelcome surprise.
