Adi Hütter confirms Elias Baum to stay at Eintracht Frankfurt

Adi Hütter has ended speculation by confirming Elias Baum will remain at Eintracht Frankfurt.

He spoke after a 1-0 friendly win over Waldhof Mannheim. According to Sky Germany, earlier reports had already indicated the defender would stay.

"We will keep him with us. No move to HSV or anywhere else."

Baum had been linked with a move from Deutsche Bank Park in recent weeks. The 20-year-old right-back supplied the assist for the game's only goal on Saturday, rounding off an encouraging pre-season.

He said the assist lifted his confidence, noting they had worked on improving delivery into the final third and that he wanted to reward his efforts, adding that this time it worked.

The latest remarks appear to close down the transfer chatter around his future ahead of the new season.
