According to Goal.com, Al-Ahli agreed a fee with Al-Fateh for 24-year-old right-back Saeed Baatiyah minutes before the Clasico kick-off against Al-Hilal, with the player's final approval still required.

Al-Hilal host Al-Ahli today, Tuesday, at Kingdom Arena in a rescheduled Saudi Roshn League third-round match.

Baatiyah had been linked with Al-Nassr several times this summer, particularly when goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi appeared close to joining Al-Fateh last month before that move collapsed.

Al-Nassr are said to have been unable to pay the full fee under financial controls.

Baatiyah made 34 appearances for Al-Fateh across all competitions last season, scoring once and supplying one assist.
