Al-Orobah backtrack and move to register Abdellah Zoubir

Abdellah Zoubir will be able to play in Saudi Arabia this season after Al-Orobah reversed course over his registration.

According to L'Équipe, an article on Tuesday said the 34-year-old was free to sign elsewhere because of Al-Orobah's financial problems. In response, the Saudi side moved to ensure he can be included in their squad.

The club contacted the former Qarabag winger on Wednesday to say the situation would be settled promptly.

The Frenchman had already agreed to join Al-Orobah before the registration issues emerged.

He is now set to link up with the squad once the paperwork is finalised.
