Ali Yousuf close to Al-Ittihad Tripoli move from Nantes

Ali Yousuf is close to a move from FC Nantes to Al-Ittihad Tripoli, with talks under way over a transfer to Libya.

According to L'Équipe, the Libya centre-back, 25, and under contract until 2028, is discussing a deal that could be worth about one million euros.

Yousuf arrived in January from Club Africain in Tunis and featured in 13 Ligue 1 matches during the second half of the 2025-26 season.

The defender has 25 caps for Libya.

If the move is completed, it would follow the sale of fellow centre-back Jean-Kévin Duverne to Omonia Nicosia, champions of Cyprus, on Wednesday.
