Aston Villa have secured an agreement to sign ASEC Mimosas striker Ibrahim Dosso, according to The Athletic journalist Jacob Tanswell. A deal is in place for Villa to bring the 16-year-old to the Villa Park club for him to sign a professional contract when he turns 18 on January 1, 2027. The Villans have a close relationship with the Ivory Coast-based club, and the deal to sign Dosso officially when he is legally allowed to join them has been in place for a while.
The teenage sensation is an Ivory Coast youth international who has played four league games for ASEC so far this term. Dosso is highly rated back in his country, and he will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Chelsea legend and former Ivory Coast international striker Didier Drogba as he prepares to join Villa. The Midlands club signed 18-year-old midfielder Mohamed Kone from ASEC in the summer, and he joined their youth ranks and has continued to impress their coaches.
