Ayrton Lucas has suffered a posterior right thigh injury, confirmed after Flamengo’s 2-1 win over Red Bull Bragantino on Sunday. According to Coluna Do Fla, scans showed damage that leaves the defender sidelined.

The left-sided defender pulled up three minutes into the first half after challenging Fernando, immediately feeling pain in the back of his right thigh. He could not continue and left the pitch in tears, with Alex Sandro coming on.

Gonzalo Plata also departed with discomfort in the same area of his right leg. He had not undergone tests at the time of reporting, so his situation remains pending medical evaluation.
