After representing the Netherlands at youth level, Ezechiel Banzuzi has since declared for DR Congo. He has been called up to the senior squad for the first time by head coach Sébastien Desabre.
On Friday, Banzu was named in the starting line-up against Uganda and was able to celebrate his senior international debut for the Leopards. Playing in central midfield, Banzuzi worked hard for 45 minutes before being taken off at half-time. DR Congo were 1-0 down at that point after a mistake from goalkeeper Dimitry Bertaud while attempting to build out from the back. Uganda then went on to score a second on the break after the change of ends (49').
Banzuzi and DR Congo will have a chance to get their revenge for Friday's defeat in just a few days from now, as they take on Uganda in a second friendly on Monday.

David Raum and Ridle Baku were both unused substitutes as Germany beat Serbia 2-0 in Munich. Jürgen Klopp’s side dominated for long spells and eventually took the lead through Tom Bischof in the 39th minute after Florian Wirtz had earlier hit the post. Wirtz added the second after the break to seal the win.
Raum and Baku will now be hoping for minutes when Germany round off the international break away to Greece on Sunday (20:45 CEST).

Nici Seiwald started for Austria in their 2-2 draw away to Ireland, lining up alongside former Leipzig midfielder Xaver Schlager in central midfield. Nici went close to equalising with a first-time effort on 25 minutes, before giving away the penalty that allowed Troy Parrott to double Ireland’s lead shortly before the break.
Seiwald was replaced at half-time by another former RBL player, Konrad Laimer, with Austria fighting back in the second half through goals from Alexander Prass and Michael Gregoritsch. Ralf Rangnick’s side remain top of their Nations League group.

Ørjan Nyland started in goal for Norway for the third Nations League game in a row, while Antonio Nusa began on the bench after starting the first two matches. Norway took an early lead through Oscar Bobb, before Wales levelled through Daniel James, with Nyland given little chance.
After Torbjørn Heggem was sent off shortly after the break, Neco Williams put Wales ahead from the resulting free kick. Nusa came on in the 75th minute as Norway pushed for an equaliser despite being a man down, but they were unable to find a way back into the game.

Neil El Aynaoui featured for 68 minutes as Morocco beat Lesotho 2-0 at the Toyota Stadium in South Africa. Brahim Diaz put Morocco ahead on the stroke of half-time (45'), before Azzedine Ounahi doubled their advantage in the 82nd minute.
After taking maximum points from their first two AFCON qualifiers, the Atlas Lions currently sit in top spot in Group A with six points, three ahead of second-placed Niger.

Willi Orbán and Hungary are in last place in Group B2 of the Nations League after two matchdays. A 1-0 defeat against Ukraine was followed by a goalless draw against Northern Ireland.
The first half was overshadowed by what looked to be a serious injury to Bendeguz Bolla, with the defender needing to be taken off the pitch on a stretcher. Orbán was later shown a yellow card for dissent shortly before the break, in what was otherwise another solid performance from our centre-back.
Overall, Hungary looked to be the more threatening side, but failed to break the deadlock. They will be back in action on Friday against Georgia.

Maarten Vandevoordt was an unused substitute as Belgium suffered a 1-0 defeat against France. Head coach Mark van Bommel started Senne Lammens (Manchester United) in goal instead. Belgium looked to be on track for at least a point and a clean sheet until the 88th minute, when substitute Michael Olise (FC Bayern) managed to break the deadlock.

Tidiam Gomis has received his first call-up to the France U21s. Together with the 'Bleuets,' he is now set for four tough matches as part of qualifying for the U21 EUROs in Albania and Serbia next year. France are currently top of their group with 20 points.
Gomis was not part of the matchday squad against Estonia U21s.
