Baptiste Drouet dismissed as Nantes head of recruitment

Baptiste Drouet has been dismissed as Nantes head of recruitment as the club endure the worst season in their history.

According to L'Équipe, president Waldemar Kita informed Drouet on Wednesday that his mission had ended. The decision partly reflects the summer window, conducted with no budget, and likely also the choice of Luis Castro, who was sacked in December.

Drouet's association with the club began in July 2023.

He was involved in the arrivals of Matthis Abline and Douglas Augusto.

He also played an active part in the record departure of Nathan Zézé to Saudi Arabia. The Canaris visit Monaco on Friday, kick-off 21:05.
