According to Mundo Deportivo, Orian Goren is quickly becoming one of the most highly regarded young talents at FC Barcelona.
The 17-year-old midfielder ended the season in style, scoring a superb long-range goal in the final of the Copa Catalunya as Barça’s Juvenil B side came from behind to defeat Espanyol 4-1 and lift the trophy.
The goal capped an excellent campaign for the academy prospect, whose development is being closely monitored by senior figures within the club.
Goren is widely expected to be one of the youngsters invited to begin pre-season training with the first team, making this summer a potentially significant step in his career.
Competition for places in Barcelona’s Juvenil A midfield has been intense this season. Alongside Goren, players such as Pedro Villar, Pedro Rodriguez, Dani Avila and Ebrima Tunkara have all pushed for opportunities and contributed strongly throughout the campaign.

Despite that competition, Goren has continued to impress. He scored two goals in the league and another two in the UEFA Youth League, while also demonstrating the consistency and maturity that coaches value highly.
As per the report, those working closely with Goren highlight not only his technical ability but also his eagerness to improve.
He is known for embracing video analysis sessions and individual training programmes, both of which form an important part of Pol Planas’ coaching methodology.
One of his standout qualities is his intelligence off the ball. Much like Pedri, Goren often drops deeper to help build attacks, showing excellent awareness of space and movement. His ability to make himself available for teammates has become one of the defining features of his game.
There are still areas for improvement. Coaches believe he can reduce the number of unnecessary turnovers in possession and become more decisive in the final third by adding greater goal threat and more runs into the penalty area.

Barcelona’s academy continues to produce technically gifted midfielders, and Goren is increasingly viewed as one of the most promising members of the latest generation.
His performances, attitude and willingness to learn have earned him growing support within the club hierarchy.
Several members of the Juvenil A squad are expected to receive opportunities to impress at senior level in the near future, but Goren appears particularly well positioned to make the next step.
With pre-season approaching, the young midfielder is expected to get his chance to show what he can offer Hansi Flick and the first-team coaching staff.
For a player already attracting significant attention inside the club, the coming weeks could mark the beginning of an important new chapter in his Barcelona journey.
