Barcelona set sights on Adriano Jagušić deal | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga champions Barcelona are ready to ramp up efforts to land one of the next great hopes of Croatian football.

This comes amid confirmation of the Blaugrana keeping a close eye on the development of Adriano Jagušić.

Jagušić, for his part, is a 20-year-old midfielder, who chiefly operates in an attack-minded role.

The youngster is currently plying his trade in his home country of Croatia, with Slaven Belupo.

Jagušić’s talents have long piqued the attentions of some of European football’s leading clubs, with the likes of Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig hot on his trail.

As alluded to above, though, such suitors may well be forced to beat out competition from Barcelona to strike a deal.

As per a report from Diario Sport, citing ‘Croatian Football’:

‘Barca scouts have travelled to witness Slaven Belupo in today’s match against HNK Gorica to follow the evolutions of midfielder Adriano Jagušić.’

Jagušić, on whom Deco and co. already have ‘great reports’, is widely expected to depart Croatia next summer.
