Barcelona locked horns with Elche at the Martínez Valero Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in La Liga. The Catalan giants made a bright start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 14th minute when Raphinha scored from the penalty spot. Karim Adeyemi doubled his team’s advantage in the first half injury time as Barcelona went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Martin gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the pitch.

He earned possession back once but failed to influence the game in the final third.

Bernal anchored the midfield with conviction and was accurate with his passing.
