Barcelona Sporting Director Deco spotted in Zagreb with agent Andy Bara | OneFootball

It has only been a couple of weeks since the 2025 summer transfer window closed, but the FC Barcelona Sporting Director, Deco, is still busy with his work to continue strengthening the Blaugrana team.

In this regard, SPORT reports that the Portuguese official has been in Croatia for the last few days, and last night, he was in the Dinamo Zagreb box as they took on the Turkish side Fenerbahce in the UEFA Europa League and came out as winners with a 3-1 scoreline.

However, Deco’s stay in Croatia could turn out to be impactful for other reasons, as he held several meetings, along with the agent Andy Bara, for two promising players.

One of them was the promising Brazilian talent Rafael Belinha, who has been earmarked as a potential target by Bara. Deco met with the player and his father during this stay, even though the meetings were quite informal.

This trip also allowed the Barcelona official to watch another Dinamo Zagreb player who has attracted his interest, Cardoso Varela. However, he came on only in the 93rd minute of the game against Fenerbahce, and thus Deco was not able to watch much of his game.

Still, there is no doubt that Deco’s trip to Croatia can turn out to be quite fruitful for Barcelona. For now, the official will be looking to return to the Catalan club to ensure he is available to attend and watch the upcoming league match against Real Oviedo.
