Born in Glasgow, he began at Queen’s Park before joining Dundee United, where he spent three years, then moved to Poland with Lech Poznan and won the league and a domestic double.

A switch to Türkiye with Konyaspor preceded his Wolves stint, where the versatile full back scored five goals in 42 games in all competitions as Nuno’s side won the Championship.

Following promotion he left for Leeds United, later taking a short loan at Blackburn Rovers. He returned to Poznan, won the Polish title again, and finished his career with St Johnstone last season.
