Bayer Leverkusen sign Guéla Doué from Racing Strasbourg on deal to 2031

Bayer Leverkusen have completed the signing of Côte d’Ivoire international Guéla Doué from Racing Strasbourg on a contract running to 2031.

Leverkusen’s managing director of sport Simon Rolfes said the club view Doué as an excellent addition at right-back and a top-class player who fits their squad.

Doué, 23, is the older brother of Paris Saint-Germain star Désiré Doué.

He said he enjoyed two years at Strasbourg, wanted the move to the Bundesliga and was impressed by Leverkusen during talks, adding that he is looking forward to playing with a talented group.
