Benfica 'to explore' move for Marcel Regula

A Bola reports that Benfica have enquired about Zaglebie Lubin forward Marcel Regula.

The club, led by Rui Costa, are tracking the 19-year-old after reports in Poland suggested the sides had been in touch.

The report adds that Benfica have spoken with the Polish club to gather more information and to understand the conditions for a possible summer transfer.

It is not yet certain they will table a formal bid, though a price between eight and 10 million euros has been cited and a possible agreement has been suggested.

Regula has made 27 appearances this season for Zaglebie Lubin, 26 in the league and one in the Polish Cup, across 1,849 minutes, with six goals and three assists. He can also operate on the flanks and is valued at seven million euros.
