Besiktas are stepping up their interest in Fabio Miretti as Vincenzo Italiano continues to raid Serie A clubs for players to add to his squad at the Turkish club.

He has already signed Dusan Vlahovic as a free agent after the Serbian left Juventus at the end of June, while the Bianconeri have also placed Miretti on the market.

Miretti is not in the plans of Luciano Spalletti, so if he stays, he is unlikely to play many games for the men at the Allianz Stadium. This is why his departure from the club is important for the Bianconeri.

Besiktas Step Up Interest

Juventus are delighted that Besiktas want to add Miretti to their squad and would make it easy for them to complete the move in the next few days, with Tuttomercatoweb claiming that the Turkish side have stepped up their interest in his signature.

The report says the deal is now close to completion because all parties want it to go through. In the coming hours, an announcement could be made, as Miretti has agreed to move there and become teammates with Vlahovic.

Miretti Set for Turkish Move

The midfielder would also have the opportunity to work with an Italian manager who believes he can perform well in his system. This could make the proposed move an appealing option for Miretti, particularly given his limited prospects of regular football at Juventus.

For Juventus, the most important thing is that they will sell an unwanted player and make some money from his departure, while also saving his salary.

The Bianconeri are therefore keen to see the deal completed, with Besiktas’ interest providing a solution for a player who does not appear to have a significant role in their plans. If the agreement is finalised in the coming hours, Miretti could soon begin a new chapter in Turkey alongside Vlahovic.
