According to the Bournemouth Echo, each of Birmingham City, Southampton, and Wrexham have expressed an interest in signing Jebbison this summer after a successful loan spell with Preston North End.

However, they face competition from the likes of Genoa and Hamburg, both of whom have also contacted Bournemouth regarding a potential move for the 22-year-old.

Blackburn Rovers were previously keen, but competition from their division rivals may see them forced out of the picture now.

Born and raised in Canada, Jebbison first made the move to the United Kingdom in 2017, joined the Sheffield United academy in 2018, and would make 29 first-team appearances for the Blades, as well as spending time out on loan with Chorley and Burton Albion before joining Bournemouth in 2024.

After a disappointing six-month loan spell with Watford in the second tier, the Canadian returned to Bournemouth for the second half of last season to provide competition up top for Eli Junior Kroupi and Evanilson, netting once in 16 top-flight games.

He joined Preston North End on loan last summer, and made 40 appearances for the Lancashire-based outfit across all competitions, scoring six and assisting twice.

Having impressed in pre-season upon his return to the Cherries, he has given new boss Marco Rose something to think about regarding his immediate future, though with Kroupi, Evanilson, Enes Unal, and Alvaro Rodriguez for competition, his place in the side is far from guaranteed.

The Championship trio of Birmingham, Southampton, and Wrexham are looking to further add to their attacking options ahead of next season, and have each formally contacted Bournemouth over a potential move.

Birmingham have already made the addition of Luis Vazquez to their attacking options this summer, with the Argentine arriving from Belgian side Anderlecht to provide competition up top for August Priske and Marvin Ducksch.

Though Ducksch could be on the move this summer, having been linked with a return to Germany, Jebbison would provide Chris Davies with another option up top.

Southampton have endured a relatively quiet window thus far, with former Aston Villa forward Lewis Dobbin being their only new arrival at this stage, making the move to St Mary's for around £9 million.

However, Dobbin is a player Jebbison will already know very well, having played together up top last season during their spells on loan at Deepdale, as the Saints aim to reunite the pair up top on the South Coast to rekindle that partnership, especially with Ross Stewart having left the club; a replacement is required.

Wrexham's trajectory over the past few years has been nothing short of sensational, as head coach Phil Parkinson likely has no intention of letting that end anytime soon.

Though the Welsh outfit have an abundance of options up top, with the likes of Kieffer Moore, Sam Smith, Davis Keillor-Dunn, Bailey Cadamarteri, and Ryan Hardie fighting for a starting berth, Parkinson is keen to continually improve and has seemingly targeted Jebbson as a player that can come in and have an immediate positive effect.

Southampton and Wrexham have all taken to social media to react to this update and share their opinions on the matter.

Probably aimed at the ongoings at Middlesbrough, who have completed a lucrative deal for Will Lankshear, with moves for Radek Vitek and Ashley Phillips close to being completed, as this Southampton fan has urged the club to raise the standards, a clear indicator they don't rate Jebbison that highly.

However, this Saints supporter has urged fans to be realistic about who they are capable of signing this summer, and has given the Canadian the benefit of the doubt.

This Wrexham fan doesn't believe Jebbison would represent an upgrade on their current options, and told the club to either keep what they have or splash the cash elsewhere.
