Leeds have received fresh bookmaker backing for Sunday’s Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace after Monday’s 4-1 home win over Newcastle lifted Daniel Farke’s side to third.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Palace sit fifth-bottom with three points from four matches, earned via a 3-2 success at Fulham between defeats to Everton, Manchester City and Ipswich Town.
The Eagles host Lech Poznan in the Europa League on Thursday, where they are rated strong favourites, but bookmakers then firmly side with Leeds at Elland Road.
United are odds-on across the board, no bigger than 4-5 and as short as 8-11. The draw is priced at 14-5 and Palace are as big as 18-5, close to 4-1.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, fresh from a brace against Newcastle, leads the any time scorer market at 27-20. For Palace, former Leeds target Jorgen Strand Larsen is seen as the main threat at 13-5, fifth in the list behind Calvert-Lewin, Lukas Nmecha, Noah Okafor and Harry Wilson.
