Borja Iglesias speaks out on Celta Vigo future | OneFootball

Celta Vigo star Borja Iglesias has this week provided an insight into his future with the club.

This comes fresh off the frontman securing for himself a well-earned piece of individual silverware on Wednesday morning.

Iglesias is currently in the midst of his most productive stretch of the campaign to date, having directly contributed to seven goals in his last seven La Liga appearances.

This includes a memorable hat-trick en route to a devastating defeat at the hands of table-topping Barcelona on April 19th.

Owing to such efforts, the 32-year-old was today named Celta Vigo’s fan-voted Player of the Month for April.

And after receiving his accolade, Iglesias, in quotes relaid by Mundo Deportivo, made use of the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to the cause at Balaídos.

This comes ahead of the expiration of his loan from Real Betis in the summer.

“I feel very comfortable and very happy,” Iglesias began. “I’m trying to contribute to the team through my work, learn from different situations and moments, and I’m eager to do more. I’m grateful to the club and the coaching staff for the trust they’ve shown me and for enjoying ourselves together. I hope it’s a long time to come.”
