Borussia Dortmund signed Ethan Nwaneri on loan from Arsenal on deadline day, replacing long-term absentee Giannis Konstantelias.
Bild claims Dortmund had to persuade Mikel Arteta to let the 19-year-old leave, with the Arsenal head coach initially hesitant.

The Spaniard was unsure whether he might still need Nwaneri in his own squad.
He ultimately sanctioned the switch after BVB management, led by sporting director Ole Book, stayed in contact with Arsenal representatives “deep into the night”.
Nwaneri could make his Dortmund debut against TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
